The Semen Culture & Sensitivity (C/S) test is performed to detect bacteria or fungi causing infection in the male reproductive tract (prostate, seminal vesicles, epididymis). The automated method provides faster and accurate results along with detailed antibiotic susceptibility. This test is recommended when a man has symptoms like Infertility, Pain during ejaculation, Low semen volume, Burning or discomfort while passing urine etc. It helps find whether infection is affecting sperm quality or fertility.
